We offer our students the chance to study the Level 2 Award in Spirits online via Zoom. The course covers exactly the same programme as the classroom format, with the advantage of taking part in a video-classroom with real students and our WSET Certified Educator, Hans Bihl, from the comfort of your home. Hans will teach the whole course interacting real time with you throughout two 2h-sessions along 5 weeks, and he will also guide you through the tasting exercises in real time like in a real classroom.
A minimum study time of 6 hours per week is recommended to complete the course successfully and regular participation is mandatory to sit the final exam. During the course you will taste 32 samples of spirits. Before the start of the course the study guide and a small spirits box of 32 small samples (2 cl) will be delivered to you in order to be able to take part in the online tasting activities with your educator. For this reason, be sure to have a set of 6 tasting glasses ready for the tasting exercises during the course. If you don´t have any, you can purchase them here.
Technology Requirements
The course is delivered via video-conference and in English, therefore, students are required to get access to a computer/laptop and/or a compatible mobile or tablet with the following requirements: Internet access (broadband recommended) and the Zoom Client for Meetings software installed.

The study guide will be delivered to you as soon as you enroll in the course. A minimum of 11 hours of private study is recommended to be successful in the final exam. This private study time should have been completed before attending the course.
During the course you will taste a minimum of 29 samples of spirits, that will be provided during the course.
